How To Apply
This submission methodology is applicable to those persons currently in Hong Kong and who wish to apply for verification of eligibility for a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card.
As a ‘walk-in’ applicant, you present yourself at the Right of Abode section on the 25/F of Immigration Tower in Wanchai.
Alternatively, you can commence the process online via:
www.gov.hk/en/apps/immdpermanentidcardapply.htm
Following these steps:
1. Confirmation that you are physically in Hong Kong
2. Read and agree to the declaration
3. Provide personal information
4. Attach the application form
5. Attach your supporting documents
6. Reconfirm your submission
7. Receive an acknowledgement
You must be physically present in the HKSAR on the date that you file an application for verification of eligibility for a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card.
