Your Case
Hong Kong Immigration Department form ID520 is
used as part of an application for a dependant visa.
The Immigration Department use the information on
this form to build up a profile of the extended
family of a Hong Kong resident and his or her sponsor.
Completing this document is fairly straightforward
and should be completed in block letters by adult
applicants and their sponsors with the sponsor signing
both the applicant and the sponsor section of the
form.
In the form ID520, the Immigration Department are
seeking to build up the family record of a Hong
Kong resident by requesting information on an applicant
and the sponsor’s father, mother, spouse, children
and their brothers and sisters.
In the case of children siblings, information on
all persons, alive or dead, no matter where they
are residing, is required and in providing this
information to the Hong Kong Immigration Department,
the applicants and sponsor must detail each family
members’ date and place of birth, marital status,
what they do for living, and where they currently
live.
The sponsor has the responsibility to sign both
parts of the form both on page one along with the
applicant and on page two in respect of his or her
own family information submitted as part of the
dependent visa application.
