Hong Kong Visitor Visa Transcript -
for those people who prefer to read, rather than
watch, the contents of the Hong kong Visa Handbook,
we have prepared the following transcript of the
A/V dialogue of our presentation Investment Visa
- Preparing
Your Case
Hong Kong Immigration Department form ID1003B is
completed by the sponsor of an application for a
visitor visa by those nationalities not afforded
visa upon arrival privileges. The sponsorship form
is fairly straightforward with only two sections
requiring specific commentary and these are the
sponsor’s details and the sponsor’s declaration.
Depending on whether the sponsor is an individual
or a business, either subsection 1 or subsection
2 should be completed. If the sponsor is a company,
the form will be executed by an authorized individual
an accompanied by the official company chop.
Arguably the most important section on the ID1003B
form is the sponsor’s declaration without which
the application cannot proceed. The declaration
at the bottom of page 1 must be signed as to the
veracity of the information detailed on the sponsor’s
form and the sponsor’s declaration on page 2 must
be completed in full.
The critical course here is the representation
by the sponsor that they assume the cost of repatriation
of the visitor from Hong Kong in the event that
the visit should go awry for any reason along with
a certification that the applicant is in fact a
suitable candidate for a visit to Hong Kong.
